We can read!!!
Isaiah read me a story last night about a bird's egg. He read almost the entire thing...with the exception of maybe one word and the kids names. That is so great. He is still memorizing words, but he is getting better at even that, before to much longer he will be sounding them out too. We were working on sounds in the car this morning. I really think the light has gone off and he is getting it and before to long he will be a reading guy.

Green with a sprinkling of yellow
Green with a sprinkling of yellow days at school. Overall his behavior has been amazing. He has had a few issues, yelling at some other kids, telling the teacher no, and saying a quote unquote bad word. I use the word (pee pee) and allow him to so that is a judgement call on the school. Personally I think they are too sensitive.
He is doing pretty good at home too, he even cleaned his room yesterday. Well mostly - not bad for a 6 yr old. Hehe
I am pretty proud of him considering the beginning of the year is usually the hardest for him. He has a little trouble adjusting to the transition. But he has already gotten a note sent home about being the star student for the day in music, big shocker there he loves music.
Looking forward to a productive year. :)

0 to 90
From 0 to 90 in 3 weeks.
They took him from 0 minutes of pull out to 90 a day at school. Hopefully it will have the desired effect and he will improve and be where he needs to be with the other students.
It makes me a little sad that he is not moving forward, but he has come so far that this is just a little hiccup and we will continue to grow.
