5 nights in a row

5 nights in a row we have wet the bed....what am I to do. I just don't get it. We think it may be a control issue but what does he think is out of control so much that he has to take back control by any means necessary. I am at a loss of what to do here....

Halloween

Halloween 2009 -
Darth (Dark) Vadar and some crazy chic with wild hair :)
We had a lot of fun, he was not as scared as he was last year, but he only lasted about 45 mins before he was done with it all. Next year he wants to be an Ewok. :)

More IEP changes

We are increasing yet again. He just isn't getting what he needs. So more time out of class and more time with the Para in class looks like. Won't know for sure what they think until tomorrow, but I hope we get ti right this time.

We can read!!!

Isaiah read me a story last night about a bird's egg. He read almost the entire thing...with the exception of maybe one word and the kids names. That is so great. He is still memorizing words, but he is getting better at even that, before to much longer he will be sounding them out too. We were working on sounds in the car this morning. I really think the light has gone off and he is getting it and before to long he will be a reading guy.

Green with a sprinkling of yellow

Green with a sprinkling of yellow days at school. Overall his behavior has been amazing. He has had a few issues, yelling at some other kids, telling the teacher no, and saying a quote unquote bad word. I use the word (pee pee) and allow him to so that is a judgement call on the school. Personally I think they are too sensitive.

He is doing pretty good at home too, he even cleaned his room yesterday. Well mostly - not bad for a 6 yr old. Hehe

I am pretty proud of him considering the beginning of the year is usually the hardest for him. He has a little trouble adjusting to the transition. But he has already gotten a note sent home about being the star student for the day in music, big shocker there he loves music.

Looking forward to a productive year. :)
