5 nights in a row
5 nights in a row we have wet the bed....what am I to do. I just don't get it. We think it may be a control issue but what does he think is out of control so much that he has to take back control by any means necessary. I am at a loss of what to do here....

Halloween
More IEP changes
We are increasing yet again. He just isn't getting what he needs. So more time out of class and more time with the Para in class looks like. Won't know for sure what they think until tomorrow, but I hope we get ti right this time.

We can read!!!
Isaiah read me a story last night about a bird's egg. He read almost the entire thing...with the exception of maybe one word and the kids names. That is so great. He is still memorizing words, but he is getting better at even that, before to much longer he will be sounding them out too. We were working on sounds in the car this morning. I really think the light has gone off and he is getting it and before to long he will be a reading guy.

Green with a sprinkling of yellow
Green with a sprinkling of yellow days at school. Overall his behavior has been amazing. He has had a few issues, yelling at some other kids, telling the teacher no, and saying a quote unquote bad word. I use the word (pee pee) and allow him to so that is a judgement call on the school. Personally I think they are too sensitive.
He is doing pretty good at home too, he even cleaned his room yesterday. Well mostly - not bad for a 6 yr old. Hehe
I am pretty proud of him considering the beginning of the year is usually the hardest for him. He has a little trouble adjusting to the transition. But he has already gotten a note sent home about being the star student for the day in music, big shocker there he loves music.
Looking forward to a productive year. :)

0 to 90
From 0 to 90 in 3 weeks.
They took him from 0 minutes of pull out to 90 a day at school. Hopefully it will have the desired effect and he will improve and be where he needs to be with the other students.
It makes me a little sad that he is not moving forward, but he has come so far that this is just a little hiccup and we will continue to grow.

1st day of school
The first day of school has come and gone. I was afraid he would miss it because he was sick the day before, but he made it.
So far three green days in a row - awesome.
He likes his new teacher - Mrs. B. could not say her last name if I tried.
But I am so glad he is having fun. Hopefully this is the start to a wonderful year.

Dressing Ourself
Isaiah was told to pick his clothes out this morning and he returned with the following:
Rustic orange shirt with green lettering
Bright blue Nike shorts with large bight yellow strips down the sides
Not only do the colors clash, the fabrics are off, and styles are in different universes. I asked him if he wanted to change either top or bottom - nope wasn't interested. So needless to say my kid is the most interestingly dressed at summer camp today.

New Song
"Excuse me miss, but if I may take this gift and send it your way, and if you don't like that then send it right back.....You know I want you, You know I want you, 1...2...3...uno...dos....tes...cutro....quence...If you liked it then you shoulda put a ring on it..don't be made when you see that they want it...if you liked then you shoulda put a ring on it...who-oh-oh-oh...all the single-lets, all the single-lets...."
A great combination of Neyo, Pitbull, and Beyonce :)
He says that the songs sound better together....though he is not sure what the other words are...

SO hard to keep up....
So hard to keep up with posting all of the funny things Isaiah does. Good thing my mom is good at it. hehe
He absolutely loves the YMCA, he gets to swim about 4 times a week and thinks it is the coolest thing since sliced bread.
He still misses the crack head who sired him. Wish that were not the case.
Has found a love for Darth Vader - not sure why, I would think he would think he is scary, but no he is Isaiah's fav. We have watched all three of the new episodes plus the 1st old one.
Aside from the few side notes ahead so much to tell so little time - Isaiah however is doing great, his speech is amazing and he is rocking out all around :)

1st day at Summer Camp
Today was our first day at Summer Camp. It is off to a rocky start, they were missing a shot and he didn't have the right stuff, and when we first walked in the kids were super loud.
But after a trip to Wal-Mart to get a towel and lunch we went back, date for shot in hand and they were quieter so he went with them OK. I am very curious to see how it will go...

How many days of school...
Isaiah is as usual dragging his little feet this morning, so I go in and say lets hurry you only have three more days of school you don't want to be late:
Isaiah: But grandma said that I have 2 weeks left of school
Me: That was 2 weeks ago
Isaiah: Oh
And on his way to get dressed he adds: I don't want to have to many more school days, remember Delaney said we have 2 more weeks of school.
Time it seems is a mystery still.
